No Doubt – Running

Super busy at the moment.. but in all this rush and complex of a mess, I never leave a lighter moment to listen and reminisce to nostalgic deep meaning songs such as this one by No Doubt from the fifth studio album ‘Rock Steady’ recorded in 2001 and released in 2003. Such a lovely tune about Gwen Stefani’s relationship with her bandmate. Love the song, love Gwen, love ND and certain love (and miss) running. Running to the future.. ! Click play and sing along the lyrics alright?!

luv,

Run, running all the time
Running to the future
With you right by my side

Me, I’m the one you chose
Out of all the people
You wanted me the most
And I’m so sorry that I’ve fallen
Help me up, let’s keep on running
Don’t let me fall out of love

[Chorus]
Running, running, as fast as we can
Do you think we’ll make it?
We’re running, keep holding my hand
So we don’t get separated

[Verse 2]
Be, be the one I need
Be the one I trust most
Don’t stop inspiring me

Sometimes it’s hard to keep on running
We work so much to keep it going
Don’t make me want to give up

[Chorus]
Running, running, as fast as we can
Do you think we’ll make it?
We’re running, keep holding my hand
So we don’t get separated
