While my guitar gently weeps

One of those self-talk moments reflecting the life as it is. The power of memory and projection..and a tune by The Beatles made these notes come alive. Enjoy the short read!

The beautiful human

What makes you tick? What made you the person you are today? With objectives and end goals in mind, we march forward. Memories, experiences, lessons from the pitfalls which we endured, overcame and survived– nothing comes discounted. We are human despite all this complexity, and that is what makes us beautiful.

See the perfection. We are not the end

The beginning and the end is not ‘us’. The beginning and the end of the world, life..did not start, nor will end here on the earth. Look beyond, and see the perfection boldly portrayed by the stars and galaxies. All align perfectly, and all seem to orbit as if there is a perfect creator out there. The architect..the designer..the scientist..

With this acknowledgement, we know we are here to be the best of humans, and to manage problems we may face in our life, and not to go overboard with it..we are…now ..here.. how many years have passed by and we are..still here.. with gracious and humility, we continue to walk..nothing seem to stop us.

Keep on walking, they say

No matter what any of us is going through, we keep on walking.. Watch out for possible obstacles ahead, and not to forget to turn your head and look behind to remind you how your past has shaped you and make you a strong person, made your mind a mind of  substances, a personality dense with wisdom and impact..so much so that the people around you love the fact that you are affecting them in a good and positive way.

We do not run away from problems. We face them don’t we. The sun will still keep on shining, and the night will eventually turn into day. Summer will come by each year, and we will prepare for the coming winter. There will be ups and downs in our lives. Happy moments…sad ones..ultimately tough ones.. The variables are permanent, just that they come knocking unscheduled. Than what… we ask..should be the constant..? The constant to ensure all is in control. The control needed to ensure the roller-coaster doesn’t run off the tracks..

A manual for the constant

We catch a reflection of ourselves on the glass window one morning as the sun rose to its glory.. It is US… which should be the constant. But one which is evolving and improving. That roller-coaster ride can get faster and rougher..hence we need to become a stronger constant to withstand changes in time..and conditions. How hard is it to become a good constant? Well, the creator of that ride didn’t create the roller-coaster without a manual.. We will be guided rightfully as long as we stick to that manual or program. Manuals.. cars have manual..the prescription drug have manuals..how to bake a cake..that has a recipe..

Tonight.. take a good look outside your window… and check out the sky (given that you are not in a light-polluted area..)… how perfect is that creation of stars and the universe.. so perfect that it doesn’t collide..so perfect that the earth is ‘just nice’ for human being and all the creations to live in. We live on land.. our lungs are designed for it.. thousands of meters beneath the ocean surface, there is life too. That life has been designed and was built to survive the Gs and pressure of the ocean and that level. Such a beauty ain’t it..?

With all this amazing proof around us showing that we need some sort of guidance to make sure our life doesn’t go off track, we need to take a good look at that manual.. Our fitrah or nature is also guiding us.. Nothing happens by chance, though we like to call the good ones, luck.

Designed to sustain the pressure

Anyhow.. I hope you can read and read again..to think again what I just shared..  We may weep with the pressure crushing upon us, but it is also us who decides (in our mind and soul) that we will survive it. Think of that angler fish thousands of meters below.. we are designed to manage the troubles of this life, but not to be complicated by it. This life is to be managed..and not to be complicated. Our Creator has given us a lot to sustain and manage our lives.. what more are we asking except for his guidance, mercy and forgiveness? We have ‘x’ amount of issues… 10 more people are facing 10 times more grave issues than we are facing.. So look ahead folks..but don’t forget to look behind..

I will leave your trailing thoughts with a song by The Beatles..It was written by George Harrison — when he believed that everything happens for a reason, and nothing is coincidental 🙂 Enjoy !

While My Guitar Gently Weeps.png

“While My Guitar Gently Weeps”

I look at you all, see the love there that’s sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don’t know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love
I don’t know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it’s turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

Well…

I don’t know how you were diverted
You were perverted too
I don’t know how you were inverted
No one alerted you

I look at you all, see the love there that’s sleeping
[LOVE version:] I look from the wings at the play you are staging.
While my guitar gently weeps
Look at you all
[LOVE version:] As I’m sitting here doing nothing but aging
Still my guitar gently weeps

Oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, ooh
