I was just looking at another Chrome tab and cracking an honest laugh to myself as I see my name listed in the Women’s Open category for this mountain bike event happening this Equinox weekend. Yes, sounds crazy, and even crazier I have not been getting on the saddle for heaven knows how long.
It will be a reason for me to get off from the comfort of stay-home weekend. I have been working out lately in my mission to lose some post-baby kilos and fat. So far its been good and steady. What I need to keep in mind is to proportion my food and make sure I work out at least thrice a week. So I will consider this weekend’s outing as a work out. According to the info given of the MTB event it will be 70% road and 30% off-road, and uhm…32km journey to yeayy-burn-em-calories! Event is happening this Sunday starting in Tmn Melawati.
So please, please wish me luck. I will be pushing my bike up any crazy hills (for off-road) and try to maintain it steady on the flats. Need to remind myself to recharge my Suunto Ambit 3 Sports. Goal is to finish the distance safe and no injury, InsyaAllah. Will letcha guys know after I am done.
