Kimbeley Yap hit while cycling this morning

Kuala Lumpur : I received an unfortunate news from an old friend 20 minutes ago that Kimbeley Yap was hit while cycling this morning on Penchala link. According to the source she was hit from the back by a Toyota Harrier (registration number : WPN 688). Quickly asked my friends if anybody can validate this news, and its apparent she was indeed hit this morning. 2 photos at the accident scene shared by a friend confirmed this news. The second source mentioned that Kimmy is currently being warded in PPUM.

I will update this post once I get any other news on the incident.

To the rest of my running/triathlon fellow bloggers/friends, let us pray for Kimbeley’s speedy recovery. She is a true sportsperson and I have never met anybody who consistently comes back to her game with nothing but gold and excellence. She has made the country proud more than twice in her appearance and achievement in SEA Games 2005 and 2007 — where she emerged champion for the Women’s category.
