Visited the couple 2 night ago.Both are in great spirit that the accident didn’t go any worse than it did last weekend. Julia had to endure 2 1/2 hours of surgery to insert the rod into her right lower leg.Both the couple will have to get lots of rest and undergo physio to rehabilitate. Please pray for their speedy recovery ! Thanks !

My first time at a Columbia Asia Hospital in Malaysia !
A very calm patient. She manage to smile despite the drained energy. 2.5 hours in the operation theater to fix her broken leg.
The tib-fib fracture clearly shown here in the x-ray. Normally a result of high-impact blow on the lower leg (can also be caused by low impact).

Fadil was in another ward (ICU!) — He was obviously conscious and was able to talk. Showed me the road rash on his right shoulder and chest, and a chipped front tooth. Unseen here : Bruised lungs and broken ribs due to the impact of the accident, and weight of the motorbike which pinned him down on the road. Keep on smiling Fadil !
Managed to do a 2-in-1 in Negeri Sembilan that eve. Met another lovely couple, Makcik Yan and Pakcik Emary (friends since 1997)after visiting Julia and Fadil. Both retired and in great spirit. Note the change of head gear (quick shopping at Tesco Xtra ! hahah
