Falling sick !
Salam and greetings everybody. Its is 2am in the morning and I am still up ! It has been busy for me the past 2 months.No break as of yet. My daughter (and I) –weren’t well .. daughter was down with hand food mouth disease (HMFD) and was quarantined at home. Thanks to daddy for helping out. I wasn’t well either. I had flu and tonsillitis (something I rarely get!). The doctor was ‘generous’ enough to give me 2 days of sick leave with the second falling on Christmas Day ! Quite an experience for me.. yeah, but I did have some fun trying to get the best shot of my swollen throat !! Just could not believe the extent of the swelling. *but you can check out worse tonsillitis images online — way bigger and with pus…erggggghhhh…must be way more painful than mine..Anyways..

Whats installed for me this month…. I can’t share much on my ‘sports update’ as the last time I took part in a sporting event was last year in Powerman. This year, I have no plans yet to register for any. To those who have registered for the M-dot event in Langkawi, and have started training, missjewelz wishes you all the best. Train smart and stay awayyyy from injury.

Uhm, work wise, that has kept me pretty much occupied. Fridays are just like passer bys before I meet the next Fridays. Weekends are getting longer- I find myself doing more things with my family, especially my daughter – which is good ! She’s growing up very fast , ما شاء الل. Before, I laid her head on my arms when I put her to sleep.. but now lil big baby lies on her pillow while she holds her milk bottle. She’s an independent girl this one.. I don’t have to rock her to sleep, nor to I have to pat her to get her to doze off. She’ll turn around, jump on me, and even pat her mummy in the dark, but eventually will fall asleep on her own.
Zee junior
Met Ish and Zee’s baby girl for the first time last weekend. Such a beauty. Not sure who the baby looks like, but I am glad she’s safe home after the bouts of jaundice. Congratulations again to Ish and Zee. I am very happy for both of them 🙂
Career path
I believe any progress is a good progress. Be it in the increasing length of service in an organisation, better and encouraging reviews from supportive superiors, as well as being able to contribute more than expected. End of last year, I was given some good news regarding to my career, and yesterday one of the bosses told me that the good news which was relayed to me before will come into realisation soon 🙂 Haven’t quite broken the news to anyone yet in the office, but Alhamdulillah, I thank and praise Allah for giving me this opportunity. Being too complacent is not good , some if it is ok. Well, there are times we can just sit back and relax– just to get a breather or you know, getting grip of things and losing sight.. But most times, we are moving and progressing in no matter what we do. I really hope this journey that I am embarking on will be as good as it is already challenging as there are lots of catching up and learning to be done.
Life path
I believe that if we’re good, and always have the intention to be good and fair to ourselves and others, Allah will meet us with friends and people who are good. The same way when we sincerely extend a helping hand to others, Allah will do the same by introducing us with good friends will be there to help when we need them. Moral of the story, let’s try to be kind and nice to the people around us. 🙂 Sounds simple, but the simple gesture of making another person’s day feels worth living– will turn around and come our way someday if not today.
